
Egypt’s new Museum Director Zahi Hawass is under fire for not initially reporting that 8 Egyptian antiques were stolen during February’s Egyptian Revolution from the Country’s national museum. While 3 pieces have been recovered, many are confused as to why he initially stated that the museum had not been harmed. Hawass also is receiving complaints from staff about low wages.
