Opportunity: 5th Annual Japanese Film Festival seeks Global Submissions

5th Okinawa International Movie Festival is currently accepting submissions for 2013. Focusing on the idea of “Laugh & Peace” the festival will present a selection of films from around the world to Japanese audiences, and provide opportunities for interaction between filmmakers and audiences to pave the way for new creative possibilities.The festival will offer premiere screenings of new, feature-length films that “bring us laughter or joy.” The films will be presented in two categories—“Laugh” and “Peace”—and will be eligible for audience awards.
