What Resistance Looks Like

Black Photographers and their images of World Wide Protest

This summer, appears to be an exciting time of change and protest. The killing of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Aubrey and George Floyd, forced Black people and our allies to stand together for the end of institutional racism in the United States and abroad. If you are still in quarantine, you watched social dissonance on television or social media. Watching television has been depressing for me, causing me to indulge in angry outbursts and many times , tears. However I’m not discouraged by the beautiful images of liberty that I see captured by Black photographers. Here are some photos that inspire me to move forward day by day.
