In between planning our upcoming interviews today, I ran across a new artist at Funky Dineva, Lion Babe or better know as Jillian Hervey ( the daughter of former Miss America , singer and actress Vanessa Williams ) . Though no one can say they are surprised that an offspring of Vanessa Williams would have at least one child who is talented , Lion Babe has a distinct sound and look of her own. Her new release Treat Me Like Fire gives us sultry vocals and avant garde visuals that may even put you in an early Erykah Badu state of mind. Check out the video below:
