This post is difficult to write. I was was not personal friends with this amazing artist but I knew him, I visited his poetry cafe and I truly enjoyed his work.Will da Real one was a poet, entrepreneur, and caring community activist. He was a force of nature and used words to create lush landscapes and evoke the spirit creativity in all that saw him perform. He expressed the God in him whenever he performed. He is no longer with us, he died from gunshot wounds on May 29, 2011. He will be missed and remembered as a we saw him, a dynamic, beautiful man.
