EVEWRIGHT’s 30-minute video tour of Tilbury Bridge Walkway of Memories, talks about the inspiration behind his work, his influences and his anthropological approach to this site-specific Art Installation using the Windrush Generation as his subject. Windrush refers to the steamship MV Empire Windrush, which arrived to the UK on June 22, 1948 , bringing workers from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and other islands, to help fill post-war UK labour shortages.
