MUCE SUMMER SERIES KICKS OFF WITH THREE MAJOR EVENTS: ARTWALK HOMESTEAD, MINIATURE GOLF IN LITTLE HAITI & 103.5 THE BEAT PAPA KEITH PEOPLE MATTER FESTIVAL

 Miami Urban Contemporary Experience (MUCE) brings back its third annual MUCE SUMMER SERIES, a monthly art activation in heritage neighborhoods throughout South Florida’s tri-county area. This June,  MUCE partners up with three major events to culturally infuse historic neighborhoods with artistic fun for the entire family. The first event, Art walk Homestead presented by the City of Homestead’s Councilwoman Jennifer N. Bailey,  the Southwest Advisory Committee (SWAC) and Colestar Production happens June 2nd from 12pm. to 6 p.m  at Losner park 104 N. Krome Avenue, Homestead FL 33033. Caribbean inspired Miniature Golf comes to Caribbean Market days at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex as a Miami Foundation Public Space Challenge Winner on June 9th from 11am to 6pm at the Caribbean Market  5925 NE 2nd Ave, Little Haiti. Finally, 103.5’s Papa Keith People Matter Festival follows on June 16th from 12:00 P.m. to 6:00pm with headliner RICK ROSS at Gwen Cherry Park, 7090 NW 22nd Avenue.  All events are free to attend. ART WALK HOMESTEAD FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS 2018

Homestead, Florida –  On Saturday, June 2nd, MUCE  will curate it’s signature pop-up exhibition, guided historical tours, interactive art stations, a community mural, and game stations for the entire family at the 1st annual Art Walk Homestead presented by the City of Homestead’s Councilwoman Jennifer N. Bailey. The festival also includes community vendors, live dance parties, scavenger hunts and a Tots reading corner. The premier festival seeks to utilize art as an economic and cultural generator for Homestead, fundraise for middle schools, and provide free resources to support parents throughout the school year. GRAND OPENING CARIBBEAN INSPIRED  MINIATURE GOLF AT CARIBBEAN MARKET DAYS

Little Haiti  Cultural Complex Caribbean Market Place, 5925 NE 2nd Ave, Little Haiti

Little Haiti, FL  –   The Little Haiti Cultural Complex, winner of the Miami Foundation Public Space Challenge brings the Caribbean inspired miniature golf course to Caribbean Market Days. Artistically designed and installed by MUCE, the custom golf course highlights the rich culture of Haiti by showcasing iconic locations of the island through artistic murals, paintings, and scenic art. Some artists highlighted in the course design include the renowned muralist Serge Gay, photographer Isaie ‘Zeek’ Mathias, painter Belina Wright and architectural designs by Jason Francois. The golf course will remain open Saturday, June 9th – August 31st. Grand opening attendees event can enjoy refreshments, vendors performances, Electric Book Lovers author meet & greet, and a few rounds of mini-golf with friends and family. PAPA KEITH’S PEOPLE MATTER FESTIVAL

Liberty City, FL – 103.5 The BEAT Papa Keith presents the 2nd Annual  People Matter Fest, a hip-hop inspired festival that promotes peace, love, and father’s day. Headliner performer RICK ROSS brings his talents to the People Matter Stage. Local performers, bands, DJ, youth dance troops and more will also grace the stage to showcase some of South Florida hottest underground talent. MUCE brings its Summer Series activation to the festival with its signature Pop-up Art exhibition, interactive paint and play, and hype game stations for some friendly competition. MUCE will also present a Pop-up fashion experience LOC’D UP, celebrating the beauty and diversity of men with Locs. The LOC’D UP Fashion show serves as a playful awareness campaign to promote the beauty of hair culture and serve as a conversation starter on creative ways to undo the pipeline to prison industrial complex that strips so many youths of their future economic opportunities. The festival also features a father and son flag football tournament, larger than life inflatable obstacle course, food vendors and more. Papa Keith promotes a 24 hour ceasefire and honoring ceremony for victims loss to senseless gun violence.  Guest are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the festivities!
