Scope Miami Beach to Feature Amar’e Stoudemire Art Collection

SCOPE Art Show is pleased to collaborate with The Melech Collection, launched by six-time NBA All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire.

The Melech Collection translates to “King”, and is the genesis of Stoudemire’s acclaimed career in sports, a lifelong interest in culture, and dedication to philanthropy. Uniting seemingly disparate audiences of sports and contemporary art, The Melech Collection teaches the value of cultural capital through the cumulative knowledge of mind and body; to be truly empowered, awareness and action must exert in conjunction.

Stoudemire will curate a 40 foot installation as a highlight of SCOPE Miami Beach’s Special Programs. Additionally, Stoudemire will conceptualize and lead a lively panel discussion in SCOPE’s Atrium, moderated by Sotheby’s Contemporary Art SVP and former Andy Warhol Museum Director Eric Shiner.

SCOPE Miami Beach opens for the Platinum First View on Tuesday, December 5, 12pm-4pm; followed by the VIP and Press Preview 4pm-8pm. The fair will run through Sunday, December 10th; 11am-8pm daily.
